1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, body measurements, and payment information processed through Stripe.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to create your account, create custom-fit clothing from your measurements, process orders and payments, and improve our services.

3. Body Measurements

Body measurement data is stored securely and used solely for producing custom-fit clothing. We do not sell or share your measurement data with third parties.

4. Biometric & Body Scan Data

Our mobile app offers an optional LiDAR body scanning feature that uses your phone's depth sensor to capture body measurements. When you use this feature:

• On-device processing only. The raw depth mesh and body landmark data are processed entirely on your phone. No 3D body models, depth maps, or raw scan data are transmitted to our servers or any third party.
• What we store. Only the numeric measurements extracted from the scan (lengths and circumferences in centimeters) and a confidence score are saved to your measurement profile.
• No facial recognition. The scan does not perform facial recognition or identification. Body landmarks are used solely to compute garment measurements.
• Consent. Body scanning is entirely optional. You must initiate each scan yourself. You may use manual measurement entry instead.
• Deletion. You may delete any measurement profile, including those created by LiDAR scan, at any time from your account settings. Deletion is permanent and immediate.

Under California law (CPRA), body measurements may be classified as sensitive personal information. You have the right to limit our use and disclosure of this data. To exercise this right, contact us at privacy@modiste.app.

5. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers. Please refer to Stripe's privacy policy for details on their data handling practices.

6. Data Retention

You may delete your account and associated data at any time. Measurement profiles can be individually removed from your account settings. Order records are retained for seven years as required for tax and legal compliance, after which they are deleted.

7. Your Rights (California / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, correct inaccuracies, and limit the use of sensitive personal information (including body measurements).
